In real estate it is location, location, location. This year the Chamber is all about communication, communication, communication.
We want you to value your membership and communicating more is the best way to go.
We will be sending frequent alerts, via email or through the website at rosellechamberofcommerce.org, about what is happening in the Borough that will affect your business and want to encourage your feedback. Your involvement is essential to our success!
The Board recently completed our first all day planning session which resulted in identifying goals that were grouped into five categories:
1. Membership Development
2. Promoting pro-business initiatives with the Administration
3. Support economic development programs
4. Help enhance Roselle’s image
5. Work to better organize the Chamber activities
In order to find out more about these strategic goals, please attend our events as noted on the enclosed 2013 Calendar of Events. All events, other than the annual dinner, are free of charge to all member employees. Come and meet fellow business owners!
The Mayor and Council have demonstrated an “open door” policy regarding issues of importance to Roselle businesses. Clearly they have put the needs of our business community at a very high level of importance. A unified voice from our Chamber members is the best way to convey the issues that need their attention. Our common goal is to make Roselle a better place to live and do business.
I want to thank all the members that have already renewed their dues and want to encourage the ones who have not to please renew them as soon as possible. There is a lot to get done and we need each other to get things done. Our Board is committed to addressing the needs of our members. Please contact us anytime to bring our attention to matters that you feel will create a better business environment in Roselle.
The Board of Directors meet on the second Tuesday of each month and the meetings are always open to our members. I hope to see you at one!
Wilfrid Peralte, President
